About Rishi
Hi everyone, I'm Rishi, a computing student at Imperial College London.
For my A-Levels, I chose Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. You may be asking why I did not do a Computing A-Level, but now study Computing at uni. The main reason for this was my sixth form not offering Computing, and I was set on this sixth form for their Ivy League prep programme and good internship opportunities.
For me, long hours of work just didn't benefit me, so I studied in short bursts with breaks in between. With my lessons, I will try to also follow this strategy - if this doesn't work for you, no worries, we can try find what works best for you and work like that.

I have been tutoring in some form or another for around 6 years. Usually, I prefer shorter lessons (or frequent breaks) to increase productivity during the lessons. I'm happy to offer lessons where there are 20-30 minutes of work followed by a 5 minute break up to a maximum of 2 hours (minimum of 20mins). For example, a 1hr lesson would be broken up into a 30-minute segment, a 5 minute break, then a 25-minute segment.
My method generally includes a concise explanation of the topic at hand, followed by an example of an exam question completed by me. After this, there will be guided practice for 1-3 questions. Depending on how well the student is coping with the questions, I will either continue with explanations and help, do a few more guided practices or move on. I would prefer to set a couple of questions for independent study and then go over them the next time, but this depends on the student's schedule. Once we have completed a section of the syllabus (such as multiple topics that are related), I will then run a brief revision session and assess the student's understanding of the section. If need be, I can go over any weak topics again.
My lessons are for GCSE level and younger. I am happy to tutor for 11+, pre-11+. I only offer A-Level tuition in Maths and Physics.
