About Dora

I am a professional singer and musical theatre performer, and teaching is where I get to pass on everything the stage has taught me. I trained in singing and music theory at music school from a young age, then completed a First Class Honours degree in Musical Theatre at a London conservatoire.

Since then I have performed internationally, including lead and featured roles in large-scale musical productions, and I work as a vocal coach alongside performing. I am represented as a performer in London, and I still audition and sing professionally, so what I teach comes from a working career, not just from theory.

I have coached singers and musicians of all ages and levels, from complete beginners finding their voice for the first time to performers preparing for auditions and the stage. What I love most is that moment when something finally clicks and a student realises they can do far more than they thought.

My approach is warm, patient and completely without pressure. Every lesson is built around you: your goals, your pace, and the music you actually want to sing or play. Whether you are here for a serious ambition or simply the joy of it, you are in the right place.

About the lesson

Whether you have never touched a piano or you already play a little and want to improve, these lessons meet you exactly where you are. I teach piano and music theory together, so you do not just learn to play, you understand what you are playing and why.

I trained in singing and music theory at music school before completing a First Class musical theatre degree, and I am a working performer, so everything I teach comes from real musical experience rather than textbooks alone.

In piano lessons we build a comfortable technique, learn to read music, and work on pieces you genuinely want to play, at a pace that suits you. In music theory we cover the foundations that make everything else click: reading notation, rhythm, keys and scales, intervals, and how music actually fits together, whether you are starting from scratch or filling gaps for school, exams or your own playing.

My teaching style is patient, encouraging and completely jargon-free. No pressure, no judgement, just clear steps and lessons shaped around your goals.

Lessons are available online or in person, for children and adults, beginners and improvers. The first lesson is a relaxed chance to meet, talk through what you want to learn, and see whether we are a good fit.

Also, what was really good was how she would teach me how to sight read the music when I was singing. My teaching method would be individual and depending on the student. If in London, I would love to meet the clients face to face for piano lessons, but singing and music theory lessons can be online, via Zoom or Google Meet.
