About Julian

I'm a composer for visual media, pianist and arranger that's currently trying to have a career within the film industry. I've been teaching piano since I was 20 (I'm 34 now), and is a job I've always cared for very much. I also play keyboards in a band and I'm currently working on some audiovisual projects, such as a short and feature films, immersive experiences and documentaries. I've written music for piano and played in an instrumental trio for 8 years. I also have orchestral and chamber recordings, all of which can be accessed through my website: (concealed information)

About the lesson

I think it's safe to say that I'm a very friendly and keen teacher, tending to bond with students and doing my best to aim them in their musical pursuits. Whether it is the classical repertoire, the ABRSM Syllabus, learning pop songs, digging into different genres, or teaching how the music works along with some music theory, I am eager to do my best with students of all ages. Lessons can either be 30, 45 or 60 minute long

Julian is an amazing piano teacher and human being! We’ve been having him as our children’s private piano teacher for the last few years - and kids adore him so much and improved massively! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for professional piano teacher with practical experience as performers and musicians and composer!

I totally recommend Julian as a piano teacher. He's a very experienced professor, hardworking and he's a great pianist as well.
He has been teaching from young children to adults and he's very versatile because you can learn from classical to popular music styles.
I know him because I'm a pianist too and I think you'll have a great experience studying with him.
