About Jeffrey
Sunlight filters through my classroom window as I guide students through the subtle nuances of Latin American and Castilian variants. My desk sits surrounded by books collected over 13 years of teaching in Washington DC.
I hold an MA in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Chicago. Building a system for adults to actually use the language remains my primary focus. I prioritize pronunciation, accent, and intonation through consistent role play and dialogue practice.
I have helped 309 students prepare for AP Spanish and DELE exams. We explore cultural context, idioms, and vocabulary to ensure reading comprehension becomes second nature.
