About Joan
I am a CPA Candidate and a recent Master's student, so I am very aware of the pressures current students are facing and the difficulties in learning online. I will work to target the issues you need help with as well as provide a safe and professional learning experience.
I have worked as a Research Assistant at the Bank of Canada and was previously a Teaching Assistant at Queen's University. I have over 5 years of experience mentoring elementary students to undergraduate students.
I believe that every student has the capacity to excel, they just need to be provided with the right tools. The goal is to help you succeed in your education to not only meet but exceed your potential.

My teaching technique is as follows:
- Step 1: discuss with students they best way they learn, what subject matter they are struggling with, and requesting a class syllabus.
- Step 2: create a lesson plan based on the student needs which will be shared with the student with any comments and questions discussed.
- Step 3: Execute the lesson plan and see results.
