About Deepal
I am a calm, organized, and reliable art educator who believes students produce their best work when they feel confident, supported, and not overwhelmed. I work in a structured yet relaxed way, ensuring lessons and coursework planning are clear, purposeful, and never chaotic. One of my key strengths is creating realistic, time-based planners that help students meet coursework deadlines without unnecessary stress. I carefully judge how long each stage of a project truly needs and build in flexible contingency plans, so students always know what to focus on next—even when timelines change. My feedback style is confidence-based, practical, and supportive. I give clear, honest guidance that helps students improve without feeling criticized or discouraged. Feedback is focused on actionable next steps rather than fault-finding, allowing students to build skills, resilience, and independence while feeling motivated and reassured throughout the process.

My tutoring style is friendly, supportive, and well organised, while still encouraging creativity and independent thinking. I plan each lesson carefully around clear goals, making sure students understand the assessment criteria and feel confident about what they are working towards. I break down ideas step by step, using visual examples, artist references, and practical demonstrations to keep learning engaging and easy to follow.
Lessons are usually one hour long and have a relaxed but structured flow. We begin with a clear focus, move into skill-building or creative exploration, and end with constructive feedback and clear next steps. Lessons are adapted to each student’s pace, interests, and deadlines, whether the focus is coursework, portfolio development, or exam preparation.
In addition to live lessons, I provide continuous portfolio guidance and real-time feedback between sessions. Students can share work-in-progress through Google Chat or commented documents, allowing me to give timely advice, corrections, and suggestions to strengthen their portfolios as they develop.
I hold a PGCEi and a BSc in Graphic Arts and Technology, with five years of experience teaching Art and Design. My lessons are designed for high school students aged 15–19, including IGCSE, A Level, IBDP, and Pearson pathways. My aim is to help students feel supported, confident, and motivated, while producing strong, well-documented, assessment-ready work.
