About Sloane
I am a passionate and dedicated flute tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, working with students from school to college level and helping them grow in music with confidence. Music has always been a strong source of inspiration in my life, and I enjoy sharing that inspiration with my students.
Over the years, I have helped many learners progress from beginners to confident performers, which has been one of my greatest achievements. I have also guided students in preparing for performances and competitions, helping them overcome stage fear and express themselves freely.
My teaching style is simple, supportive, and adaptable, focusing on strong fundamentals such as breathing techniques, finger coordination, tone clarity, and rhythm understanding. I also encourage creativity and enjoyment in learning.
I take time to understand each student’s needs and tailor my lessons accordingly. My goal is to create a positive and motivating environment where students feel encouraged to learn, practice, and succeed.

My flute teaching methodology is centered on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I believe every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching style to suit their needs. I motivate students by giving them achievable goals and supporting their progress.
Communication helps me explain breathing, fingering, and tone clearly. With integrity, I guide students honestly and help them build a strong base. Creativity allows me to make lessons engaging through fun activities and songs.
I also include music theory and rhythm training to give students complete knowledge of music.
