About Dean
I have spent the past 7 years teaching saxophone to students ranging from young school learners to college enthusiasts. Music has always been my way of expressing emotions and connecting with people, and I bring that same passion to every lesson.
My teaching method focuses on understanding each student’s unique strengths, tailoring lessons to match their pace and goals. Over the years, I have helped students participate in competitions, concerts, and exams, celebrating their achievements as shared milestones. I believe in making learning interactive and engaging, using practical examples to make complex concepts simple.
Witnessing students progress from basic tunes to confident performances is what motivates me the most. Beyond just playing notes, I teach my students to feel the music, express themselves, and enjoy the journey of learning. My mission is to create musicians who are not only skilled but also inspired and confident.

My teaching method for saxophone is practical and performance-focused. I believe students learn best when they play regularly and apply what they learn. Every class includes breathing control, embouchure development, scale practice, articulation exercises, and song practice.
Motivation is built through regular performance opportunities such as small recitals, recordings, or mock performances. This helps students overcome stage fear and gain confidence. I communicate clearly and make sure students understand posture, tone production, and rhythm accuracy.
Integrity guides my teaching. I maintain discipline, punctuality, and honest assessment of progress. I give constructive feedback and encourage consistent practice habits at home.
Creativity is encouraged through improvisation sessions, playing along with tracks, and composing simple melodies. Students also learn how to express emotions through music.
Along with saxophone, I teach music theory, rhythm training, listening skills, and basic harmony so students understand what they are playing. My goal is to develop technically strong and expressive musicians.
