About Meriem
I’m a First-Class Creative Writing and Media graduate with an MA in Translation Studies. I spent nearly two years working at an English language school, where I also ran fun, interactive social events designed to help students practise their English in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
I speak Arabic, French, and Korean, and I’m currently learning Spanish. Being a language learner myself means I truly understand what it feels like to start from scratch, make mistakes, and gradually find your confidence.
My passion for English goes beyond grammar and vocabulary. I love creative writing, poetry, and reading, and I believe that exploring language through creativity makes learning more meaningful and memorable.
I’m patient, encouraging, and committed to creating a safe and supportive learning environment for students of all ages. Whether I’m working with young learners, teenagers, or adults, I tailor every session to suit each student’s needs and pace.

The structure of our lessons will be designed to maximise your learning experience and align with your specific goals.
We’ll start with a friendly chat about your current level, your goals, and how you learn best. From there, I’ll create a personalised plan just for you.
Whether you’re a complete beginner building vocabulary and everyday confidence, an intermediate learner working on fluency, or someone ready to dive into creative writing and poetry, I’ll adapt every session to suit you.
Expect conversations, games, role-plays, writing exercises, and creative activities. I believe learning sticks when you’re actually enjoying it. I’ll also provide readings, prompts, and exercises between sessions to keep your momentum going.
Your feedback shapes our lessons. If something’s working or you want to explore a new area, I’m always happy to adapt. Our sessions will always be a warm, encouraging, and positive space to grow.
