About Jacob
Hi, I’m Jacob – a second-year Chemistry and Math student at the University of Otago. I enjoy helping others understand science and math in a way that feels clear and achievable. I tutor high school students (Years 9–13), especially those working toward NCEA Levels 1–3 in Chemistry, Science, and Math. My lessons are relaxed but focused, usually an hour long, and tailored to how you learn best—whether that's through practice questions, breaking things down step by step, or going over exam strategies. My goal is to build your confidence and help you feel in control of your learning. Outside of study, I’m into music, sport, and hiking—so I like to keep things balanced and relatable.
