Hi, I'm Zoya! I'm friendly, patient, and love connecting with new people. Outside of tutoring, I've played piano for years and enjoy spending time with animals, especially my cat, Jalebi. I strive to create a welcoming, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence.

Hi! I'm Zoya, a Statistics and Data Science student at Northwestern University. I believe the best way to learn math is by understanding the workings behind each concept rather than just memorizing formulas.
My lessons are personalized to each student's learning style and goals. We start by identifying areas that need improvement, then work through concepts step by step using clear explanations, examples, and plenty of guided practice. I encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson and focus on building confidence alongside problem-solving skills. At the end of each session, I like to review key takeaways and provide strategies students can use independently.
As a math tutor with experience helping students of different ages and skill levels, I understand that everyone learns differently. My goal is to create a supportive, low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and gaining confidence.
I offer tutoring for elementary, middle school, and high school math.
