My lessons are fun and tailored to each student and I use a variety of resources to keep them engaged. I follow the national curriculum but also involve activities that my student would find enjoyable based on their current interests e.g. cooking or football.

Jahanara has been teaching by 9 year old son for several months and is encouraging and positive in her approach. My son looks forward to his lessons and she has helped him to focus on areas that he has struggled with in the past. She is quick to answer any queries I have and provides homework and feedback. I have seen a huge improvement in my son’s confidence levels and highly recommend Jahanara as a tutor for anyone looking for a Maths and English tutor.
Jahan’s greatest strength is her ability to successfully build rapport with students of varying ages and needs. She pays attention to detail and takes care to develop student confidence in their own ability. Jahan is always reliable, punctual and places value on having open communication to ensure best possible outcomes.
