About Jekara
Hello! My name is Ms. Wright, and I am a certified elementary educator with over six years of teaching experience. I currently teach first grade and specialize in helping students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade develop strong foundations in reading, phonics, writing, comprehension, and math.
I am passionate about helping children become confident, successful learners. I use research-based instructional practices, including the Science of Reading, to provide engaging, individualized lessons tailored to each student’s needs. Whether your child needs support catching up, maintaining grade-level expectations, or seeking academic enrichment, I create a positive learning environment that encourages growth and confidence.
