About Robin
I am a current first year English Literature student at Hertford College, Oxford University, the best university in the UK for English (the Complete University Guide). During my secondary education, I struggled with exam technique, however I worked hard to improve and I earned a grade 9 at GCSE and A* at A-Level. I therefore know from experience common issues with essay writing and am in a position where I can help people to improve.

I do not follow a set template for my lessons, because English is such a wide and varied subject and people struggle with different areas. In the first session, we will have a conversation so I can begin to highlight areas for improvement. My tutoring is centred around exam technique, something that the school system can often neglect. Length and frequency of lessons are flexible, and the way we work can be decided by how you learn best.
