About Rhea
I began tutoring during my A - levels in school, it was then that I discovered the sheer enjoyment I have for teaching and the satisfaction of supporting and enabling another student to reach their academic goals.
Moving on from school, from the advent of my medical training, the importance of teaching and training has constantly been reiterated in our curriculum and beyond. Being a committee member of various peer - assisted learning societies whilst parallelly tutoring privately privately, I've come to understand that oftentimes students engage, learn and develop better when tutored and mentored by other students slightly senior to them. I believe this boils down to relatability and being able to engage with other students in a relevant and memorable manner which I consider to be one of my assets.

Having successfully tutored many students over the last 9 years, I have had the chance to hone in and develop the most effective strategies to optimise learning. I will set out each lesson with a tailor made personalised lesson plan taking into account the main aspects of concern for students.
Each lesson will also involve degrees of active learning throughout in the form of small tasks and activities to ensure engagement and involvement from the student.
I will be offering tutoring in the following subjects:
- Mathematics all levels up to A- Level.
- English all levels up to A - Level.
- Science - Physics up to A - Level, Biology and Chemistry up to undergraduate level.
