My approach as a tutor is centered around meeting students where they are while still pushing them toward rigorous academic growth. I believe in creating structured, engaging lessons that build confidence, critical thinking, and independence. I use strategies such as close reading, annotation, modeling, guided practice, and discussion-based learning to help students deeply understand skills and content. A typical lesson includes a warm-up, mini-lesson, collaborative practice, independent application, and an exit ticket to monitor understanding. What sets me apart is my ability to differentiate instruction for all learners, including students with IEPs, multilingual learners, and students performing below grade level in reading and writing.
