About Catherine
Seven years of aiding students in and outside the classroom, all varying in cognitive ability and education goals has granted me with the patience and experience to create individual growth for all.
Through Quinnipiac University I have worked with middle schoolers looking to grasp grammar, high school students seeking SAT/ACT prep, and college students requiring clarification on their theses and course prompts. Additionally, through a local program I had the opportunity to acquire nuanced skills for instruction of education when working with adults with cognitive and developmental impairments. With this I have learned how to personalize learning for a range students’s learning styles and abilities.
I am ASL fluent as well, and have 3 years alone working with both mute and deaf students. Furthering this point, I have learned how to build relationships with students that inspire independent thinking.
I am 100% confident that I can get a student where they want to be, and more.

Promoting continuous collaboration in the formation of an education timeline, my personalized lesson plans motivate students to think independently and problem solve on their own— two skills valued beyond the classroom. Fostering active engagement and creative thinking skills that will intrinsically motivate students to not only complete their work but, understand the tools that brought them to their goals. With this, each of my students will acquire a tool box of mental dexterity and communication skills needed for any career.
