About Mahati
My name is Mahati Boddapatti, and I am a graduate student in Computer Science. Currently, I’m pursuing my master's from Deakin University, Burwood, Melbourne.
One of the main reasons I decided to teach English is because I believe that strong communication skills are one of the most valuable assets of today's world. Whether it's excelling in academics, building relationships, or advancing in our careers, the ability to express ourselves clearly and confidently can open countless doors.
Teaching, for me, is not just about sharing knowledge. I believe it's more about inspiring curiosity, helping students discover their potential, and making learning an enjoyable experience. I want to teach because I love the idea of making a positive difference in their lives, helping students overcome their obstacles, and watching them grow. I consider it my privilege to guide my students in unlocking their full potential, equipping them with the confidence and communication skills to shape their futures and make their dreams a reality.

I have around 3 years of experience as a personalized English tutor. My teaching methods focus on personalized learning, ensuring that each student’s unique strengths and weaknesses are addressed. I put a lot of emphasis on interactive and engaging techniques, such as skits related to real-world applications, creative writing exercises, and discussions, to make learning English enjoyable and relevant. I also have a habit of having casual discussions during class to form a bond with the students and make them feel comfortable, as I believe maintaining a good relationship with the students and parents is a very important aspect of being a tutor. Unlike traditional methods, I prioritize active participation and critical thinking over note memorization. By incorporating modern tools and fostering a supportive environment, I aim to build students' confidence and help them achieve excellent fluency and long-term mastery of the language.
