My teaching method is strongly linked to latest research into how to further children's learning.
I believe it is important the gaps in children learning is addressed early on.
Every child learns different. Therefore it is important that lessons are tailored in a way that suits the child.
This includes making learning fun and enjoyable!
I am currently in my second year as Primary School teacher and I am currently teaching a class of year 1 pupils.
I have experience in teaching children in Year1, Year3 and Year5.

As a teacher I recognise that the future of our society lies within the hands of our children. I believe that a good education will provide children with a strong foundation wherein children develop and mature to become productive citizens of the world and fruitful members of society. All children have a legal right to a good education and therefore it is part as my responsibilities as a teacher that children receive the best education that they deserve. I strongly believe that knowledge is powerful and a key element towards success. The foundation of my philosophy is constructed on the role of a teacher being beyond just passing on knowledge and information onto children. I believe that teachers take on important roles in the lives of children as educators, care givers, confidants and mentors. Therefore, in my practice I will not only have the responsibility of teaching the National Curriculum, but also ensuring children are safe and taken care of while in my care which includes providing children with physical, emotional and intellectual support. As a teacher, I endeavour to be a confidant to all my pupils as I believe that trust is very important in building an appropriate and effective teacher-pupil relationship.
