About Parya
I completed high school in a highly competitive system (one of the most difficult programs worldwide) which helped me a lot navigating my way around university level science courses and using techniques to score the highest in class while putting much less effort than other students. I believe achieving +96% on exams is possible for any student and it has more to do with HOW you study rather than your IQ or the time you dedicate to studying. With years of experience tutoring college and high school students, I am confident I can help you reach your potential even if you don’t really believe in your abilities at the moment. Even though Canadian high schools do a good job with providing a variety of courses to students, I don’t believe they help much in preparing students for senior year or higher level education. I am here to fix that and build your confidence so that you have nothing to worry about when competing with international students :)

My lessons are personalized for each student based on their course syllabus and pace. I help students schedule their study sessions throughout the year and track their progress. I will also help students build a better foundation of knowledge in the field they’re interested in by providing various examples, pulling content from different resources and implementing engaging tools such as YouTube, Quizlet Flashcars, Kahoot Quizzes, etc.
Should a student express their concern regarding their general performance at school, problems focusing while studying or experiencing anxiety during exams, I will dedicate some time in each class working on those fundamental issues as I believe achieving academic goals will be much easier once you build your confidence around studying and exams.
