About Tia
I love languages - the etymology of words and intimacy between languages of the world, deriving from a singular point in time. I also think communication is a fundamental skill that benefits you in all facets of life. When I decided to commit to this passion, it helped me in the smallest of ways, even just to speak what was on my mind. There is nothing more frustrating than having a thought or feeling and not being able to express it how you intend. So, to be able to share this with others will not only be a joy for myself, but hopefully also improve your academic and personal lives too!

I never want to put words into someone's mouth, so I like to listen and gain a complete understanding of your thoughts. Then, I can appropriately translate them, whether that's to help you be more concise, use precise subject vocabulary, or just to teach you the best format to produce a successful piece of academic writing. I am happy to look at pre-written works and help you amend them, or work alongside you to produce something from scratch. Whether you want a short advice session or an hour of intense collaboration. My writing skills have been a massive help in my academic career - whether it's university grade essays, GCSE and A-level exams, or even writing outside of the classroom. Personal statements and even a simple email to a teacher are all enhanced when you have a better understanding of the English language, academic or otherwise.
