About Ella
My name is Ella Martina and I am excited to help my students reach their academic goals!
As a college-aged math tutor, I bring a fresh perspective that I utilize to tailor my students learning experience. Working towards a minor in mathematics, I am ale to help my students with many different concepts within mathematics . My tutoring sessions are structured, goal-oriented, and infused with interactive methods to ensure my students are confident in the math we practice. I maintain an accommodating and nonjudgmental learning environment for my students to support their academic success.

My lessons consist of both an interactive lecture and practice problems. I am prepared to alter my teaching style based on the students learning style and level of understanding. My lessons are for anyone from those who are struggling with mathematics conceptually to those who need help with arithmetic.
Being a current student I believe gives me a unique perspective a lot of teachers and tutors no longer have. I understand what concepts or arithmetic my students are struggling with on the surface level may be because of a deeper lack of understanding of other topics. I am ready and prepared to work with my students to grow their understanding and confidence in math.
