About Yousef
I'm a first-year medical student at the University of Edinburgh with a genuine passion for the sciences that underpin both medicine and academic success. I tutor Maths, Biology, and Chemistry at all levels, and I bring the same analytical approach to teaching that got me here: breaking concepts down clearly, building on what you already know, and making sure nothing gets left behind.

My lessons are tailored around you, and not a fixed script.
Whether you're struggling with the basics or pushing for top grades, I start by figuring out exactly where you are and building from there. I don't just reteach what you already know; I use your existing understanding as a foundation to introduce new concepts in a way that actually clicks.
I specialise in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry across all levels, and I've spent the past 6 months tutoring at a tuition centre, running both group sessions (up to 6 students) and one-to-one lessons. Sessions are available online or in person, depending on what suits you.
As for my academic background: I left school as Head Student, Dux, and Junior Dux, achieving Band 1 across all my exams, including in the subjects I teach. I know what top performance looks like in these subjects, and I know how to help you reach it.

Mr. Yousef is an exceptional Maths tutor. He taught my son National 5 and did an incredible job. He is very talented at teaching, makes the lessons engaging, and truly cares about his students' success. My son went from struggling to feeling completely confident. We are so grateful for his help. Highly recommended. Loubana
