About Ruby
I am looking to go into the film industry and I'm studying Art Direction. Still, I understand how maths builds foundations for almost every industry- I want to teach because I want to inspire students to not give up on maths, especially when they feel it's "useless".

I am currently studying at the London College of Communication; so I have a deep understanding of the effectiveness of a visual learning style in children struggling with maths. I also completed my own GCSEs in 2020 (achieving four grade 9s, six grade 8s and one grade 7) and my A levels (including maths, at A*AAB) in 2023 so I have an up-to-date knowledge of the syllabus and unique revision strategies for those with different learning styles.
A typical lesson would be 40 minutes to an hour where we would focus on whatever area of the syllabus the child feels they need to work on.
I have previously worked with children as a teaching assistant for a drama group- a diverse range of students which included working with neurodivergent children and those with behavioural issues.
