My personal philosophy of music is to explore and learn as much from my students as I can teach them. For me, teaching is like going on an adventure to find something together. I like to approach music as a language of expression and not just learning how to play the notes but going a layer deeper into the unique expression each person has within.

Perfect! Grady is amazing! He can always explain complex concepts in a way that makes sense. He has been amazing with all of my vibraphone/marimba questions, as well as music theory, composition, and overall percussion issues. My playing has improved since working with him, and I have a deeper understanding of music theory now. Thank you!!

We have known Grady Tesch for 8 years!
We first met in 2017 when our son was just four years old and we were looking to start piano lessons.
Right from the start, we knew Grady was talented, kind, gentle and skilled in teaching all levels of musical learning.
Grady has grown to be a trusted friend. Our son has enjoyed every minute, of every lesson, all these years.
We have also been able to attend many of Grady’s own musical performances, such great experiences for our son to witness.
Grady is an all around wonderful human, with unbelievable talent to boot!Grady is the most amazing teacher and human being!! As a complete beginner I have learned so much and laughed a ton along the way. He is super patient and also always makes sure to make things fun and interesting.

I took percussion lesson with Grady back in 2022-2023, and he was always good about being on time, being flexible with my schedule, and teaching in a way I could understand.
