About Jessie
I am a graduate of the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Pharmacy with First Class Honours, who gained entrance with the University of Otago's Leaders of Tomorrow Entrance Scholarship at a Distinction Level in 2018. I was also awarded the Fred Fastier Summer Studentship Research Scholarship in 2020 and have completed all my university papers with an A+ average. I achieved 41 out of 45 for my International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in 2017, scoring full marks in Biology, Mandarin, and Physics. I also received the NZQA Scholarship Award for Chinese in 2016 and endorsed NCEA Level 1 with Excellence in 2015.

I have tutored secondary school students since 2016 on school subjects they have struggled with. Each student is unique, thus I aim to tailor my lessons to my student's needs depending on whether they are visual or auditory learners. The length of each lesson is dependent on the student, although typically I teach for 1 hour.
