About Tommy
I was once a student that did not really like maths and it just seems so difficult for me. But later I found out after you have done enough practice and spend enough time understanding those concept behind each formula and question, math is no longer that big of a problem. I am currently studying third year of actuarial studies at UNSW, courses I learnt include machine learning, derivatives, probability, statistic and financial maths. I believe I have a deep understanding of the contents taught in middle school and high school and I am confident that I will be able to improve students' grade in a short period of time.

I graduated with ATAR 97.5. I am able to break down complex questions into small and easier parts and really make students understand the intuitions behind all the formulas as well as all the mathematical concepts related to each topic. I will also design lessons according to the weaknesses of each student and design and pick out questions that are likely to be tested, I think this is the key of improving grades in a short period of time.
