About Esmé
I spend my free time doing things such as singing and writing (I have just finished writing a novel). When studying psychology I am interested in clinical and educational psychology, which studies how young people are affected by school settings, and also discovers which methods are the most effective for learning.

These sessions are for students preparing for their GCSEs (14-16 year olds) and each session will last up to an hour. When focusing on English Literature, sessions will include methods for paragraph structure and overall essay writing, as well as identifying key parts of the texts being studied and making sure that they are well understood so that the student can form arguments in their writing. It will also cover understanding the meanings and techniques in the poetry section and identifying suitable comparisons between poems. English Language sessions will focus on developing the skills needed in creative writing to achieve high grades in GCSE papers. I am passionate about English and achieved high grades at GCSE, and also studied essay writing subjects at A level such as sociology.
