About Joseph
Hey, fellow learners! I'm looking forward to building a strong connection with each of you and fostering a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. A few things about me aside from my experience with tutoring would be the simple fact that I am very physically active; 5-6 days within my week consist of me completing exhausting workouts that last for about 1-2 hours. I also love playing minecraft/halo/roblox/league of legends/overwatch/valorant for a good majority of my time so I'd always be up for running a few rounds on any of those games if you'd like. I also love to paint, specifically within the bounds of oil painting. In addition, I sculpt as well so I love that as well so we can always have interactive conversations about that. Finally, I'm very open so we can speak about anything !!

Since I am a college student myself, I understand the trials and tribulations of academic expectations as a student. When I was in school, I didn't have access to a tutor so when I entered college, I wanted to give others an opportunity to improve their academic performance. I believe in consistency and communication amongst the tutor and the student. I believe in trial and error as well so I'd like for the student to attempt the problem for me and we can communicate certain study methods that the student may use on going and see which one they may hold the most compatibility for. I like making the lessons interactive so it would span from things as simple as kahoot and span into other complex methods as I get to build a bond with the student. What sets me a part from other teachers is the simple fact that I care more about making a connection with the student and having a laugh in general. The basis of our conversation doesn't have strictly involve school. we can speak upon other matters as we continue to get to know one another. My lessons span across multiple subjects, so feel free to ask me any questions for anything !!
