About Cyril
Hi, I’m Cyril, a Belgian MSc Finance grad in the UK, where I finished top of my class, became a part of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers, and I’m now working for a niche private equity fund in an international rotational program (currently in Italy). I teach stats and finance, especially the overlap: risk, logic, decision-making, and handling your own biases, all the stuff that actually matters. I speak English, Dutch, and French fluently, and I’m currently learning Italian, so feel free to reach out in whichever of those you prefer. My approach is simple: no magic fairy dust, no jargon for the sake of it. Just clear explanations and real understanding. And if I don’t know something, I’ll say it, and figure it out properly before we move on.

My teaching methods are interactive and multidisciplinary. If you have specific requests or topics you'd like to focus on, I’ll tailor the lessons to your needs. We can also follow a structured approach, going from A to Z in statistics or finance.
What sets me apart is my natural curiosity and nuanced thinking. If I don’t know the answer to a question, I’ll be honest about it, and I’ll go out of my way to understand it so I can explain it to you clearly in our next session. I believe that’s what good teaching is all about.
These lessons are suitable for high school, undergraduate, and postgraduate students, whether you’re struggling with statistics, finance, or want to understand how the two intersect. We can go deep or keep it simple, your call.
