About Chloe
My name is Chloe Foster, dancer, from IN. I just graduated in May 2024 with my dance degree from Ball State University. I started dance at the age of 3 and haven't been able to stop since. Prior to University, I assisted my old studio with the recital students. (Ages 2.5-5) My dream post-grad is to teach dance to aspiring dancers full time.

TEACHING METHOD
-With 19 years of experience in dance education and a degree in dance, my teaching method combines a solid foundation in classical techniques with innovative approaches tailored to each student's needs. I emphasize the importance of proper technique and body alignment, integrating elements from various dance forms to enrich students' understanding and execution. This blend helps students build confidence, discipline, and an appreciation for the art form.
LESSON PLANS
-A typical lesson plan begins with a warm-up that prepares the body for movement and reduces the risk of injury. Following the warm-up, I introduce specific exercises designed to target technique and strength, often focusing on a particular skill or style. Next, we move into combinations or routines that integrate the skills practiced earlier, allowing students to apply what they've learned in a dynamic context. The lesson typically includes a segment for feedback and individualized coaching, ensuring each student receives personalized attention. To conclude the lesson, I incorporate a cool-down period to promote recovery and reflection.
