About Ryan
I'm Ryan, a Computer Science graduate (East Carolina University) now pursuing a Master's in Data Science. As a research assistant in engineering, I build machine learning models that forecast energy demand, using Python every day. I also run a small AI automation studio for small businesses.
I remember what it's like to be confused by a new language or a stats concept, so I explain things step by step, in plain language, and at your pace. Lessons in English or French.

Learn to work with real data in Python or R, whether you're starting from zero or stuck on a university assignment.
Who it's for:
- College and grad students in data science, statistics, CS, business analytics, engineering or research methods courses
- Professionals moving into data analysis or automating repetitive work

What we can cover:
- Python and R fundamentals: variables, loops, functions, clean code habits
- Data analysis with pandas, NumPy and tidyverse: cleaning, reshaping and summarizing data
- Visualization with matplotlib, seaborn and ggplot2
- Statistics in practice: descriptive stats, hypothesis tests, regression
- Machine learning with scikit-learn: classification, regression, time series forecasting, model evaluation
- Jupyter notebooks, Google Colab and project structure
- Help understanding course material and debugging your own code (I explain and guide; I don't do graded work for you)
How a lesson works:
1. We start from your goal, a course topic or a dataset you care about
2. I explain the concept, then you write the code while I guide you
3. You leave with working code and notes you can reuse
I use Python daily in my graduate research on AI forecasting models, so lessons are grounded in how data work is really done. Lessons in English or French.
