About Mehul
I hold a Bachelor's in Statistics from UVA and Master's degree in Data Science from Carnegie Mellon, and have spent 4 years tutoring math and statistics at the university level, and additional time tutoring high school students. My experience varies across introductory courses like APs all the way through graduate level methods.
I bring both deep subject knowledge and real teaching experience to every session. I know how it's usually taught, where it tends to break down for students. Due to this experience I have also been trained on how to explain it in a way that actually sticks for students.
Sessions are structured around your needs, your pace, and your goals. My end goal is to have every student of mine understand the concept better from the bottom up rather than memorize methods that go to waste after the course.

After six years of tutoring math and statistics, I've learned the fastest way to help isn't to start from the beginning, it's to start from where you are. Before anything else, I ask you to walk me through what you've tried and where things stopped making sense. That tells me everything.
We work through your actual assignments, problem sets, or exam prep together. I don't lecture like professors already do, I ask questions, fill gaps, and make sure you're building real understanding rather than just copying steps.
I cover many subjects including: Calculus, Algebra, Statistics, Probability, Linear Algebra, Regression, and even coding languages like R & Python.
I have worked with and continue to target undergraduate students as well as upper high school students in stats, math, economics, or College prep work including SAT prep.
I've seen the same confusions hundreds of times. I know where students get lost in this type of material and exactly how to get them unstuck.
