About Lauren

I am the Dean of Academics at a private school as well as the middle school math teacher. I started teaching 3rd grade in 2017 and now oversee the entire academic program, from grades TK-8th, while remaining a classroom teacher. As a teacher, I have a deep understanding of California state standards, various math curriculums and best practices that enable students to understand and apply the math concepts taught in class.

About the lesson

Engagement and confidence is key in helping students find success in math. I’ve been a teacher for 9 years and have experience with all types of learners at various math levels and ages. Helping kids enjoy math is my passion.
