About Aarna
I am a dedicated and patient Chemistry tutor who supports students from lower secondary through to GCSE and A-Level in building strong understanding and confidence in Chemistry. I cover key topics such as atomic structure, bonding, chemical reactions, energetics, and organic Chemistry, adapting my teaching to each student’s level and exam board.
My teaching style is clear, structured, and supportive. I focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple, step-by-step explanations so students can build a solid foundation before moving on to more advanced topics.
I also place strong emphasis on exam technique and application, helping students develop problem-solving skills, understand mark schemes, and approach questions with confidence.
Every student learns differently, and my goal is to make Chemistry feel logical and manageable while ensuring each student feels supported, motivated, and able to achieve their best.

My teaching approach focuses on making Chemistry simple, logical, and easy to understand rather than something to memorise. I break down complex topics into clear, step-by-step explanations and use real-life examples to help students connect concepts and remember them more effectively.
I adapt my teaching style to each student’s pace and learning needs, making sure lessons are interactive and focused on building strong understanding as well as exam confidence. I also support students with problem-solving techniques and exam strategies to help them improve their grades.
A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes, but this can be adjusted depending on the student’s goals and preferences.
I am a Psychology student, which helps me understand how different students learn and process information. This allows me to teach in a patient, structured, and supportive way.
My lessons are aimed at Middle School and High School students who want to strengthen their understanding of Chemistry, improve their grades, or prepare for exams.
