About Vaughn
I am a passionate violin tutor with 7 years of teaching experience, helping school students, college learners, and working professionals develop their musical skills with confidence. I truly enjoy teaching and supporting students as they progress in their musical journey. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, clear explanation, and consistent practice.
I believe that learning violin becomes easier when students are guided in a structured and simple way. I focus on building a strong foundation by teaching posture, bow control, finger placement, and note reading in detail. As students gain confidence, I guide them towards advanced techniques and musical expression. I use structured lesson plans, practical exercises, and regular feedback to help students improve steadily.
I have successfully trained over 150 students, many of whom have improved their performance skills and confidence. I create a friendly and encouraging environment where students feel supported. My goal is to make violin learning enjoyable, effective, and meaningful.

I aim to make violin learning structured, engaging, and easy to follow. I use real-life examples and relatable explanations to teach musical concepts like rhythm, pitch, and expression in a clear way. I focus on building a strong base through posture, bowing techniques, scales, and tone production.
I teach step by step and make sure students understand each concept fully before progressing. I also personalise my teaching style to suit each student’s learning pace. I maintain open communication and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
I provide regular feedback and encourage consistent practice. I follow values like honesty, dedication, and discipline. Apart from violin, I also teach music theory, rhythm training, ear training, and basic performance skills.
