About Shagun
Growing up as the daughter of an Army officer and now as the wife of a Naval officer, I’ve had the privilege of living across India and meeting people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. This lifestyle has made me adaptable, disciplined, and quick to connect with new students and families. I naturally build rapport, understand different personalities, and create a comfortable learning environment where every child feels included and supported. I’ve always enjoyed working with young minds, and my interests from volunteering and participating in community activities to exploring new places and staying involved in creative pursuits help me bring a warm, balanced, and positive energy into my classes. I believe in patience, empathy, and clear communication, and I take pride in being someone students find approachable and easy to learn with. Teaching, for me, is not just about academics but about guiding students with kindness, confidence, and genuine care

My classes are designed to make Political Science and Social Science easy to understand, relatable and engaging for students from Classes 6 to 12. I combine clear explanations with real-world examples, visual aids, and structured notes to help students build strong conceptual clarity. Each class follows a simple and effective pattern: recap of previous learning, concept discussion, interactive questioning, and exam-focused practice.
Having taught at Navy Children School (PGT Political Science, Classes 11–12) and Mount Litera Zee School (Social Science, Classes 6–9), I understand how to adapt lessons according to different learning levels, including experience of having taught students of various demographics. My approach is student-centred, friendly and confidence-building, aimed at improving understanding as well as performance in CBSE examinations. I ensure that every student feels comfortable asking questions, participating actively, and learning at their own pace.
