About Joselyn
I am a nursing student with a strong academic foundation and a 2019 Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of California, Irvine, with a minor in Spanish. I am currently on track to graduate Summa Cum Laude at West Coast University and have consistently earned high scores on proctored nursing examinations. In addition to my academic background, I have hands-on experience working as an EMT with several interfacility transport (IFT) companies, which has strengthened my clinical judgment and real-world understanding of patient care. I bring professionalism, patience, and structure to every tutoring session. My success is rooted in effective study strategies and clinical reasoning techniques that I enjoy sharing to help students feel more confident, organized, and prepared for exams and clinical practice.

I offer personalized nursing tutoring designed to help students truly understand core nursing concepts rather than memorize information. A typical lesson begins by identifying weak areas, reviewing key concepts, and applying them through practice questions and real-world clinical scenarios. I tutor nursing students at the ADN and BSN levels in subjects such as fundamentals, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, mental health, and many more. What sets me apart is my strong foundation in Biology, attention to detail, and patient, supportive teaching style that builds confidence and fosters long-term retention.

Perfect! Joselyn is an excellent nursing tutor who is especially helpful with dosage calculations. She explains medication math step by step in a clear and patient way, which made difficult conversions and calculations much easier to understand. Her teaching style helped me feel more confident and less anxious when working through dosage problems, and I’ve seen real improvement in both my accuracy and speed. I highly recommend Joselyn to any nursing student who needs support with dosage calculations.
