I first like to give a very basic detail of the chapter I'm going to teach before going into a particular topic. I like to teach in simple yet detailed manner with special focus on written notes as well as the real time interaction with my students.
The thing that makes any subject interesting is when we can relate the things we learn with our day to day life. I like my students to develop an interest in the subject as a whole.
