About Devam
I’m currently a Dental student at the University of Queensland, and what I enjoy most about tutoring is the opportunity to connect with students and see that spark of understanding when a challenging concept clicks. My background in both engineering and dentistry has shaped the way I approach science subjects, encouraging students to see the practical, real-world applications behind what they’re learning. I love creating a relaxed, open environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, and I always strive to make each session not just about memorizing facts, but about truly appreciating the material.

I tailor my 1-2 hour tutoring sessions to each student’s individual needs, focusing on making difficult concepts accessible through relatable examples and practical applications. I try to break down complex topics into smaller, more manageable parts. I have also learnt many approaches to study for exams which I share with all my students.
I am currently a Dental student at the University of Queensland and have over 5 years of tutoring experience. My expertise ranges from high school Biology and Science for Grades 4-9, to university-level courses such as BIOM 1051 and BIOM 1052.
