About SaiVaishnavi
I am Sai Vaishnavi Iyer, and I love to teach.
I started my journey in art when I was 10, and even though I am a student myself, I've spent years seeing how differently people learn as in why some fall in love with art while others give up on it halfway.
So here, I want to make it fun. I want to teach you the way I was taught—a way that made me fall in love with what I created. And I want to help you find that same feeling with your own work.

As a design student myself, I teach fundamentals of drawing and painting, but through a process that helps each student find their own artistic expression, than using a fixed technique.
Our approach here is a bit different. Instead of starting with basics-like line studies, shape exercises, etc.
We use guessing and making, where we begin with reference images directly. Through these, we identify the fundamental elements and then use them to create an original painting or composition. Which then makes us confident about that particular fundamental element.
This way, the class never feels boring, yet we still observe the fundamentals by applying them to our own work.
Classes are informal and collaborative. We don't go in a rigid, syllabus manner; rather, you decide what you draw, yet you learn through simple tasks in between, which makes your composition stronger.
Yet in between, we will also look at different forms and expressions. A single composition can be portrayed by.
My classes are offered in two types:
8 classes per month
OR
12 classes per month
Depending on the student's schedule and pace.
These classes are open to anyone
like someone who wants to try, discover, or create something through art. Or someone who enjoys art and experimenting and wants to learn through the process.
