About Kevin
I studied Computer Science in college, and got high marks. In addition, I've been a professional developer for over 10 years. I believe in teaching not only how code works, but why, and how it can be improved. I am a strong developer, and I care about my craft. I have a wide breadth of experience in different tools and technologies, but also understand code and patterns on a deep level. I am patient and flexible, giving you the time you need to grasp the concepts, while still pushing you to have a thorough understanding of how and why things work.

I can teach you anything from the basics to the advanced. Whether you're just starting to learn to code, or you want help in College or professionally, I can help.
We will go over what you're trying to learn at the beginning of every session, or I can craft a lesson plan for you. I can teach you over a video call, or if you need help on a coding problem, you can share your code and I can explain how to get started, how to fix it, and/or how it could be improved.
We will use collaborative coding tools such as Visual Studio Code Live Share to share code and collaborate. I will not write the code for you, but I will give you examples and can explain in detail how and why the code works the way it does, and why it should be written in a certain manner.
