About Zara
I believe any student is capable of achieving their academic goals with the right mindset and right support. I hope to provide my students not only with the academic support they need, but the encouragement and emotional support they may need to achieve their goals. I was once a student who never thought I was capable of achieving good grades in Biology and Chemistry. It was through hard work and dedication that I taught myself to enjoy the learning process. I hope to make learning less overwhelming and more enjoyable for my students, ultimately helping them to reach their academic aspirations.

As a young person myself, I like to make my lessons engaging, finding ways to make students see the value in what they are learning. I am a high school graduate, attending the University of Bristol next September to study Biomedical Sciences after taking a gap year. I have a passion for learning and for science, and I hope to help other young people find this passion too. I achieved A*s in GCSE Science and a 9 in Spanish, and completed the IB diploma with an overall score of 42, with a 7 (the highest score) in Biology and Spanish and a high 6 in Chemistry. My lessons are for children aged 10-16 looking for help in Chemistry, Biology, or Spanish. Lessons can range from 1-2 hours.
