About Cleo
Teaching flute has been an exciting and rewarding journey for me over the past 18 years. I have worked with many school and college students, helping them build both musical knowledge and self-confidence. My lessons focus on developing strong fundamentals through breathing exercises, posture, rhythm, finger techniques, scales, and tone production.
As students improve, I encourage them to perform confidently and express themselves through music. One of the highlights of my career has been seeing students achieve their personal goals and enjoy every stage of learning.
Alongside flute, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and music appreciation. I believe every student deserves patient guidance and continuous encouragement.

My teaching philosophy is centered on helping students discover the joy of music while building strong flute-playing skills. My lessons follow the principles of Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity.
Lessons begin with posture, breathing, tone production, note reading, rhythm, and finger placement before progressing to advanced techniques, articulation, scales, improvisation, and musical expression.
I motivate students with encouraging feedback and achievable practice goals. Communication is always clear, making every lesson easy to understand. Integrity helps me create a respectful classroom where every learner feels supported.
Creative learning includes favorite melodies, classical pieces, rhythm games, listening exercises, duet playing, improvisation, and stage preparation. Along with flute, I teach recorder, beginner keyboard, music theory, sight reading, rhythm practice, and ear training.
