About Charlie
Teaching flute has been a wonderful journey for me over the past 16 years. I teach school and college students and enjoy helping them unlock their musical potential through simple and effective lessons. Every class is designed to build confidence while improving technical skills.
Students learn breathing techniques, posture, finger placement, rhythm, scales, articulation, tone production, and expressive performance step by step. I always encourage students to ask questions, stay motivated, and practice with consistency. Watching students perform with confidence has been one of the proudest moments of my teaching career.
Besides flute, I also teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, rhythm practice, music appreciation, and beginner composition. My aim is to help every student enjoy learning while achieving their personal goals.

Learning the flute is a journey that requires patience, dedication, and encouragement. My teaching methodology combines Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to make every lesson meaningful and enjoyable.
Students gradually learn breathing, posture, finger movement, rhythm, note reading, tone production, articulation, scales, improvisation, musical expression, and concert preparation. Lessons are always adjusted according to individual progress.
Motivation builds confidence and encourages regular practice. Communication helps students understand each lesson through practical demonstrations. Integrity creates a respectful and supportive learning atmosphere.
Creative lesson activities include movie songs, rhythm games, duet playing, listening exercises, ear training, musical storytelling, and performance preparation. Besides flute, I teach recorder, music theory, beginner keyboard, sight reading, rhythm practice, and music appreciation.
