About Waleed

Hello, I’m Waleed, an English instructor with more than 20 years of experience teaching adult and professional learners.

My teaching experience includes the American University in Cairo and the Defense Language Institute, as well as private and online instruction in conversational English, Business English, IELTS, TOEFL and English for Specific Purposes.

I completed the Advanced English Language Instructor Course and the Basic American Language Instructor Course at the Defense Language Institute English Language Center in Texas. I also received IELTS teacher training through the British Council.

As a native Arabic speaker and fluent English instructor, I understand many of the pronunciation, grammar and confidence difficulties Arabic-speaking learners experience. I explain difficult points clearly and help students use English naturally in real situations.

Whether you need English for work, an interview, an examination, travel or everyday conversation, I will create a practical learning plan based on your level, goals and preferred learning style.

About the lesson

My lessons are practical, supportive and personalized for your goals.

We begin with a short assessment of your current level, strengths and learning needs. I then prepare a clear learning plan focused on the English you actually need.

Lessons may include:

• Real-life conversation and confidence-building
• Business and professional communication
• Job-interview questions and speaking practice
• IELTS and TOEFL preparation
• Pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar in context
• Role-plays, guided discussions and personalized feedback
• Digital worksheets and practice activities

I use Zoom or Microsoft Teams and adapt every lesson as you progress. You will receive clear corrections, useful vocabulary and practical guidance—not simply textbook explanations.

Your free first lesson includes a level assessment, a short sample lesson and a recommended learning plan. Let’s turn your English knowledge into confident, natural communication.
