My Teaching Approach As a Doctor of Pharmacy with over 8 years of teaching experience, I specialise in tutoring GCSE and A-Level students in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. My lessons are designed to be student-centred, interactive, and result-oriented, helping each learner build a deep understanding of scientific concepts and how they apply in real-world situations. Teaching Methodology I use a concept-based approach, breaking down complex topics into simpler, easy-to-understand steps. I incorporate: Visual aids and diagrams Real-life examples Practice questions and past papers Interactive quizzes and discussions This helps students grasp the subject thoroughly, not just memorise it. I also tailor my teaching style to match the student’s pace and learning style—whether visual, auditory, or kinaesthetic. ️ Lesson Structure & Duration A typical lesson is 60 minutes long and includes: A quick recap of the previous topic Detailed explanation of the current topic Practice questions A short quiz or summary at the end to reinforce learning I also provide additional worksheets and homework on request to strengthen exam preparation.
