About Farah
Hi! My name is Farah, I'm a junior doctor in the NHS who has taken a year out of her training to do a masters degree in Medical Anthropology at the University of Oxford! I graduated from UCL Medical School in 2020 and worked at the height of the pandemic for two years! My research is currently focussed on refugee health and improving access to healthcare.
As a future paediatrician, I believe children are our future, and I love engaging in dialogue with the younger generations! I truly love learning, and I believe education should and can be fun and enjoyable for all! I've missed the curiosity that comes with learning science and maths, and I really want to share that with the next generation of youth!

I offer lessons in GCSE biology, chemistry, physics, maths and french for students aged 14-16.
I use a syllabus based approach to tutoring with tailoring of methods to my tutees learning style - I like to incorporate colour, diagrams, flashcards - I believe in individualised learning!
Lessons are 1 hour long but can be extended if the pupil wants!
I tutored on and off during university, especially working with underprivileged communities.
My qualifications are:
10 A*s and 2 As at GCSE
Score of 42 in the International Baccalaurete (IB)
BSc in Medical Anthropology
MBBS in Medicine from UCL (including modules in Medical French)
Currently studing an MSc in Medical Anthropology at the University of Oxford
