About Janardhana
Currently, pursuing doctoral studies in economics at Thammasat University, Thailand (and taken leave for 6 months (June-Dec, 2019). Having completed my masters in finance and economics I am excited for the opportunity to teach subjects in economics and allied areas.
I was involved various assignments with Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI), Thailand, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India and Indian Institute of Management-Bangalore (IIM-B), Bangalore, India.
My recent assignment at SEI Asia was involved in a research project related to Climate Related Investment Risk in Power Sector with focus on Southeast Asian region and with Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore dealing with research areas related to Natural Capital Accounting (NCA), Disaster Risk Management (DRM) in forestry. At AIT, Thailand I was responding to the training requests, formulate training proposals, plan, design and develop courses in the interdisciplinary area of climate change and sustainable development. I also worked in the Energy Field of Study (EoS), AIT with Climate Change (CC) mitigation team carried responsibilities towards providing technical and process support for the 14 participating countries in Asia. While working at the IIM-B, I was involved in a research project on financial inclusion.
