About Willem
Hi! My name is Willem and I am a teacher, actor, comedian and writer. I obtained my honors degree in Drama and Theatre Arts in 2016. I have been involved in numerous theater productions and acting groups, including a sketch comedy group in Shanghai, China as well as Cape Town. I also recently attended the NATI Jong Sterre Residency for scriptwriters in KwaNojoli under the mentorship of Oscar Petersen.

I offer fun and interactive classes involving vocal training as well as specific acting techniques to improve your skills. I also play a lot of improv games, helping students get comfortable expressing themselves through play, spontaneity and creativity.
I am able to teach in English and Afrikaans and available to students from the age of 12 and up. The classes will consist of vocal and physical warm ups, improv games and curated exercises that focus on specific aspects of acting and drama depending on the students' needs.
The goal of the classes are to improve confidence in acting and public speaking. Providing them with the tools to further their own creative and artistic voice.
